Fleetwoodstock is a volunteer-led charity music event returning to Marine Hall, Fleetwood on Sunday 16 May 2027 featuring 16 bands on the main stage plus 8 acoustic acts in the bar. Its origins lie in various fund-raising band nights held around Fleetwood, at venues including The North Euston Hotel, Fleetwood Rugby Club, Fleetwood Football Club and Fleetwood Gasworkers' Club. As demand from bands wanting to take part grew, we outgrew these venues and decided to bring everything together into one big annual event, rather than two or three smaller nights a year. It gives local performers the chance to play the biggest venue in the area, something that wouldn't normally be possible for any single local band. First running from 2006, the event spent around eight years as a three-day festival, hosting over 150 bands and raising more than £20,000 for local causes. It returned around eight years ago as a one-day event and has since attracted visitors from as far afield as Dover, Bristol, Bradford — and even Italy and Bulgaria. 2027 beneficiaries are Fleetwood Beach Wheelchairs and The Willow Garden Project.
