Bispham Station Cafe is exactly the sort of promenade stop that deserves a place in Hidden Gems. It is dog friendly in the useful, cheerful way: dogs are welcome and the owner has been known to hand out free treats, which is a strong argument in favour of stopping even before anyone mentions the coffee.
For humans, it is an easy Bispham pit stop for cheap tea, coffee and cold drinks, with a good range of ice cream when the weather is behaving itself. The owners are friendly, happy to chat, and give the place the relaxed feel of somewhere you can drop into after a seafront walk, a tram ride, or a quick wander along the prom.
